Day 1 - Individual arrival in Stralsund
Journey to Stralsund for a cycling holiday in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. From the hotel on the Jungfernstieg it is a 5 minute walk to the old town and to the sights such as St. Mary's Church, Ozeaneum, town hall, Alter Markt etc.
Hotel example: Hotel on the Jungfernstieg, Stralsund. Choose between categories B (standard) or A (comfort). All rooms are equipped with shower or bath with WC, hairdryer, TV and radio.
Hotel examples: Your accommodation will probably be in the hotel specified above however, in the event that the hotel is unavailable on the required date, an equivalent hotel will be booked.Day 2 - Round trip through the southwest of Rügen, approx. 55 km (R1)
Your round trip starts through the rather flat southwest of the island of Rügen, past the Rambin salt marshes to the quiet Kubitzer Bodden. You cycle along the 9 mountains (Bronze Age. Tomb near Götemitz) past Poseritz and Gustow. In Rambin there is the opportunity to stop at the Pommernkate or the local island brewery and taste regional specialties on your own. Overnight stay in Stralsund as the day before.Day 3 - Excursion island Hiddensee, approx. 10-16 km (R2)
The cycle tour in Mecklenburg Vorpommern starts by boat to Hiddensee. Afterwards you will cycle through the heath of Neuendorf via Vitte to Kloster. From the Dornbusch there is a magnificent view over the whole island. Arrange the afternoon of your cycling tour in Northern Germany to suit your mood on the island. Return by boat (incl.) to Stralsund.Day 4 - Excursion Sassnitz and the chalk cliffs, about 10-55 km (R3)
By train (incl.) you travel to Sassnitz in the morning. The bike tour on Rügen leads through the Jasmund National Park to the picturesque chalk cliffs. The Königstuhl reveals a unique view of the Baltic Sea. The history of the origins of Rügen is presented in the National Park Centre (under its own direction). In the afternoon we will take a relaxed train ride (incl.) back to Stralsund.Day 5 - Excursion island Usedom, approx. 41 km (U1)
Again you start by train (incl.) from Stralsund to a new cycle tour along the Baltic Sea from Ahlbeck. Along the many kilometres long beach promenade you leave the imperial baths via steep coasts, mostly near the beach. Depending on your fitness and well-being, you cycle to Wolgast and by train (incl.) back to Stralsund.Day 6 - Along the Bodden coast to Barth, approx. 45 km (D1)
On charming cycle paths along the Baltic Sea coast you follow the Strelasund to Klausdorf and then cycle along the Bodden coast to Barth. A detour to the crane information centre in Groß Mohrdorf is definitely worthwhile. In the course of the afternoon you take the train (incl.) back to Stralsund.Day 7 - Excursion Fischland-Darß peninsula, approx. 67 km (D2)
The last tour in your cycling holiday in Germany you start again by train (incl.) to Ribnitz-Damgarten. The Amber Museum entices you to visit before the last bike tour on the Baltic Sea. Via Fischland you reach the Baltic seaside resort Ahrenshoop. On the Bodden side, you continue on quiet cycle paths to Born and Wiek to the Baltic seaside resorts of Prerow and Zingst. Cross the Meiningen bridge to Barth, where you board the train (incl.) back to Stralsund.Day 8 - Departure from Stralsund
Individual departure from your cycling holiday in Mecklenburg Vorpommern or booking of extra nights.
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 7 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable:
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the tour price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival or later
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties.
