Rostock-Stralsund Baltic Sea Cycle Path 2020 – Short Tour, Cat. B

Rostock-Stralsund
Baltic Sea Cycle Path 2020 – Short Tour, Cat. B

5 Days/4 Nights, approx. 115-151 km,
30–57 km daily, mostly flat,
2- and 3-star-hotels

The Baltic seaside resort Warnemünde is a district of the historic Hanseatic city of Rostock and flows into the Warnow. It is the start for your cycling tour on the Baltic Sea cycle path. You cycle in Northern Germany along the river Warnow and along the Hochuferweg to Fischland/Darß. Who loves beaches in the cycle vacation in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, comes at the “west edge” at its expense. From Barth you cycle along the Bodden to Stralsund. The historic old town has been a World Heritage Site in Germany since 2002. Let yourself be inspired by the old churches and expecially by the bridge to Rügen.

Stroll in Rostock to the Marienkirche with the astronomical clock, the gothic town hall and the town gates from the Middle Ages. A cycling holiday in Germany begins in the maritime town of Warnemünde with an exploration of the local fishermen's houses and a visit to the lighthouse. Example of hotel: InterCity Hotel in Rostock

The bicycle tour in Northern Germany leads through a part of the National Park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft. OÖ Touristik GmbH

In 1990 the OÖ Touristik performed a pioneering work on the sector of organised cycle holidays: the first bookable cycle tour along the Danube including luggage transfer. Already a year later we offered the first group tours. Over the years the offers of the cycle holidays has expanded throughout Europe and are as popular as ever. During the last 30 years we have expanded the portfolio on mountain bike tours, cycle holidays by bike and boat, group tours and hiking holidays as well as winter and wellness holidays. The organisation and handling of international congresses and events meanwhile adds to the successful enterprise sections.
