Day 1 - Individual arrival to AmsterdamIndividual arrival in Amsterdam for your bike and boat holiday and embarkation on board of the MS Sir Winston is from 3 pm. You might have enough time for shopping or visiting the capital of The Netherlands.
Day 2 - boat trip Amsterdam–Zaandem, bike tour around Zaandem–Amsterdam, approx. 31 km - boat rip Zaandem-UtrechtIn the morning, the MS Sir Winston departs from Amsterdam in direction Zaandem. From here your cycling tour in Holland leads you to an open-air museum's village “Zaanse Schans”: Connected with the exhibition terrain is the Zaans museum, which gives an insight into the development of the “Zaanstreeks” as the first industrial area. On your cycling holiday you are cycling back to Amsterdam through the recreational area of Twiske to Zaandem. Approx. at 5 pm by boat to Utrecht.
Day 3 - bike tour Utrecht–Gouda, approx. 40 kmFrom Amsterdam the route on your cycling holidays leads you to the city of Gouda, which is famous for its cheese. If the weather is fine, a longer break at the lakes of Reeuwijkse Plassen is worthwhile for a refreshing bath. Alternatively you may take a detour to Kasteel de Haar, the largest castle of the Netherlands. Tip: During the tulip-flowering season (departures 28.03.-02.05) we offer an optional day excursion to Keukenhof by coach, transfers and entrance fee included (EUR 59,- per person, only bookable in advance).
Day 4 - boat trip Gouda–Rotterdam, Rotterdam–Delft–Den Haag–Scheveningen by bike approx. 35–85 kmEarly in the morning, the MS Sir Winston leaves Gouda for Rotterdam and you can choose from 2 cycling tours: the shorter version leads to Delft, where you can visit the porcelain manufactory or the longer version of the bike tour leads you directly to the centre of The Hague and onto Nordsee Kur (North Sea resort). Alternatively you can also go by train to Rotterdam (rail and bike is not included, approx. EUR 15,- p. Pers, not in rush hour between 4:30 pm and 6 pm). Tip: you should experience the harbour of Rotterdam on an interesting harbour tour.
Day 5 - Rotterdam–Schoonhoven, bike tour approx. 43 kmYour cycling tour in Holland leads to Kinderdijk (UNESCO-world heritage with 19 windmills in one row) and onto Schoonhoven with its charming old town. In Schoonhoven you go again on board the MS Sir Winston.
Day 6 - Schoonhoven–Utrecht, bike tour approx. 40 kmToday enjoy along your cycling tour in Holland cycling through the Polderland to Oudewater and onto Utrecht. Do not miss to visit the Cathedral of Utrecht one of the most significant of The Netherlands.
Day 7 - Utrecht–Amsterdam, bike tour approx. 50 kmYour cycle tour takes you along the small and winding river Vecht through beautiful landscapes. The river Vecht is also known as the “Loire of the Netherlands”. Numerous castles and villas will be seen beside the river.
Day 8 - Individual departure to AmsterdamAfter breakfast disembarkation from the MS Sir Winston until 9:00 am and individual departure from your bike and boat holiday in Holland.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 7 days before arrival.
The general travel conditions of 1992 apply with following cancellation conditions: Prior to arrival the customer can cancel in written form at any time the booked arrangement. In case of cancellation or no show we charge following fees:
20% of the tour price up to 84 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 83th to 42th day before arrival date
60% of the tour price from 41th to 28th day before arrival date
80% of the tour price from 27th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”
In case the booking is changed from the customer himself (change of date, duration of the tour or participant) up to 28 days prior arrival, a handling fee of € 50,- per booking is charged.
Thereafter the previous cancellation conditions apply. Such a change of booking is only in individual cases a possibility customers do not have a claim on it.

The MS Sir Winston is a comfortable riverboat with a personal atmosphere. Restaurant, Salon and Bar, are with English style furnished leather chairs equipped, (air-condition). Guaranteed comfortable accommodation during your bike and boat holiday in Holland. Spend some relaxing time in the loggia and on the sundeck. The bikes are safely stored during your cycling holiday on the MS Sir Winston. 24 cabins on the main deck and 11 cabins on the promenade deck, they are small and practical (approx. 7 m²) equipped with 2 single beds, TV, safe, (key security deposit € 15,-), shower/WC. Cabins on the promenade deck are additionally equipped with an air-condition, the windows can be opened on both decks of the MS Sir Winston.
