Day 1 - Individual arrival in PassauEnjoy a stroll through the beautiful old town with the world-largest church organ in the cathedral of Passau and enjoy a delicious “Bavarian Lager” in a typical beer garden before your embarkation is at approx. 4 pm. At 6.30 pm your holiday begins with a cruise through the beautiful Danube Valley.
Day 2 - Engelhartszell–Brandstatt, approx. 45 kmThe only Trappist monastery in the country is located at the beginning of your cycle and boat trip in Austria: Engelszell Monastery, also famous for aromatic herb schnapps and liqueurs. Close by and right in the middle of it, you cycle along the Danube cycle path through the upper Danube valley, past tranquil villages and through the unspoilt countryside. Small, romantic restaurants along the way invite you to take a break. The scent of freshly grilled Steckerlfisch (fish on a stick) from the Danube is spreading along the cycle path. From the viewing-point Schlögen, high above the Danube, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the natural spectacle of the Donauschlinge.
Day 3 - Brandstatt–Linz, approx. 26 kmAt noon you will reach Linz, the provincial capital of Upper Austria, on your bike & boat trip. Take the bright yellow slow train (optional) on a discovery tour through the European Capital of Culture 2009. The cathedral is the largest church in Austria, the “Pöstlingbergbahn” the steepest adhesion railway in the world. Curious about the future? In the “ARS Electronica Museum'; you can try out impressive examples of modern technologies for yourself.
Day 4 - Mauthausen–Grein, approx. 35 kmA beautiful and varied route along the Danube cycle path lies in front of you! Conquer the idyllic hinterland of Strudengau by bike: the Celtic village of Mitterkirchen, the baroque monastery of Baumgartenberg and the romantic castle of Clam. Look forward to Grein on the Danube, a medieval town with baroque facades, Greinburg Castle and the oldest municipal theatre in Austria. After a romantic light ride with the MS Theodor Körner you reach - like Sisi in the old days - the waltz metropolis Vienna early in the morning.
Day 5 - Vienna (day is at leisure)During a bike sightseeing tour (facultative), you have the opportunity exploring impressive buildings of this great city. Cycling slowly past world famous sights, such as the Prater, St. Stephan Cathedral and the Imperial Palace. The magnificent buildings along the Ringstraße remember on ancient times. In the afternoon, you have enough spare time visiting one of the traditional Viennese coffee shops and in the evening visit a Waltz- or Operetta concert in the Wiener Kursalon (facultative).
Day 6 - Wachau round trip, approx. 25-40 kmToday a truly special highlight! The landscape with rolling hills enchants everybody with lovely picturesque villages, apricot trees, vineyards, fortresses, monasteries and ruins. This is pure cycling pleasure! In Weißenkirchen (wine tasting is possible – facultative) you definitely should have a break in one of the charming wine taverns.
Day 7 - Weißenkirchen – Pöchlarn, approx. 35 kmYou cycle through the idyllic landscape along the Danube cycle path to Spitz. Here you take the ferry to the tranquil southern bank and after a leisurely cycling tour you reach the magnificent, baroque Benedictine monastery of Melk. The visit during the bike & boat trip between Passau and Vienna is a must! From Pöchlarn you can enjoy a wonderful view of the wildly romantic Nibelungengau from the sun deck of the MS Theodor Körner.
Day 8 - Arrival in Passau–Individual departure or extra nightsEvery holiday comes to an end – enjoy again the peaceful Danube Valley, a last glance onto the Schlögener Schlinge, before reaching Passau with wonderful impressions. Disembarkation at approx. 09:30 am and any transfer reservation for your departure please arranged from approx. 10:30 am.

The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due at the latest 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance must be paid 7 days before arrival.
The general travel conditions of 1992 apply with following cancellation conditions: Prior to arrival the customer can cancel in written form at any time the booked arrangement. In case of cancellation or no show we charge following fees:
20% of the tour price up to 84 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 83th to 42th day before arrival date
60% of the tour price from 41th to 28th day before arrival date
80% of the tour price from 27th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”
In case the booking is changed from the customer himself (change of date, duration of the tour or participant) up to 28 days prior arrival, a handling fee of € 50,- per booking is charged.
Thereafter the previous cancellation conditions apply. Such a change of booking is only in individual cases a possibility customers do not have a claim on it.

It is a nostalgic boat of traditional architecture with ample space and a very comfortable atmosphere. The crew is at your disposal and the restaurant awaits you with regional and international specialties. The boat offers a restaurant with a small library and parlour-games (air-conditioning), a panorama bar, café with a sun terrace and a well-sized sun deck with deck chairs. A musician plays in the evening dance music.
